FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe?

Cryoskin is a medical grade device that is registered on the ARTG. The TGA is part of the Australian Government Department of Health and is responsible for regulating therapeutic goods including medical devices. It is continually tested and regulated through post market monitoring standards enforcement

What happens to the fat?
Medical Cryolipolysis specifically targets fat cells and lowers their temp to a range between -6 to -9 degrees. This causes the fat to crystalise and is naturally eliminated through the body’s lymphatic system. This process impacts no other structures.
Are the results permanent?
As long as you maintain a healthy diet, lifestyle and exercise, long term results should remain stable.
Is it painful?

Unlike other cryolipolysis treatments, Cryobody treatments are not painful. There is no use of suction cups, and Cryoskin will not damage any tissue or nerves. It will feel cold – similar to rubbing an icepack in the area. The chin can be the most sensitive area.

Exercise is not recommended prior to treatment but can be beneficial afterwards to get the lymphatic system pumping.
